Marvel hasn’t missed a beat when it’s come to publicizing that their most well known superhero, Spider-Man, is back in the same universe with their other characters. Even the name of the forthcoming Spider-Man film, Spider-Man: Homecoming, is a celebration of the wall crawling webslinger’s return to the MCU. And the flurry of promotional material that’s come out this week hasn’t missed an opportunity to show that off either.

Spider-Man: Homecoming Trailer

In case you missed it, Marvel and Sony dropped the new Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer this week, full of the kind of action, adventure, and superheroics we’re expecting from the movie. We’ll have a full breakdown of the trailer later in the week. For now, just appreciate how awesome it is that we get to see Spider-Man with Tony Stark and Avengers Tower.

Spider-Man: Homecoming Posters

Also this week, we got three new Spider-Man: Homecoming posters. Their function was two-fold. They managed to show off the new Peter Parker’s costume from a variety of different angles. They also solidified the wall-crawlers place right at the center of the MCU. Just take a look at the first image, where Peter is hanging off of the ‘A’ on Avengers Tower.

In the second image, we see that Marvel is still going out of their way to make sure we know that this is their version of Spider-Man. We see a relaxed, more identifiably “high-school” Peter Parker resting on a wall. And in the background, the gleaming Avengers Tower reminds us that he is in the MCU.

The third poster gives us a look at the web-slinger from a new angle. We can see his webshooters very well. We’ve also got a great look at the paneling on the side of his costume. We can still see Avengers Tower in the far off background, but it isn’t nearly as obvious as the roadsign Peter is hanging off of, which is pointing him towards Queens.

The message of any of these three posters is simple. Whether its Avengers Tower, the MCU, or Queens, Spider-Man has finally come home. None of them even need the title Spider-Man: Homecoming anywhere on them to make that point.
